Job summary

RaceTrac in Orlando, FL is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a high‑performing team during fast‑paced shifts. You’ll motivate staff, ensure great guest service, and drive daily store operations with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

You will coach, train, and guide team members, maintain inventory and cash handling accuracy, and uphold RaceTrac’s standards while promoting a positive work culture and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift and set a cheerful, can-do tone.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time and provide guidance for performance.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Train and develop store team members and oversee shift transitions.
• Oversee store processes including write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
