Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager in Orlando, FL to lead fast-paced store operations and develop team members. You will drive guest satisfaction, oversee food service, stocking, and cash handling, and role-model strong communication and accountability on every shift.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail or food service with 1+ year leadership experience, and a high school diploma or GED. The role emphasizes people leadership, safety, and operational execution in a busy store

Qualifications

2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

Lead a winning team on your shift with a cheerful, can-do attitude.
Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
Train and guide your team to meet service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
Lead shift change communications and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
Relaying updates from leadership to shift associates and providing feedback to drive results.
