Job summary

RaceTrac in Roswell, GA seeks a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team on a per-shift basis. You’ll coach, motivate and guide team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining store standards.

You’ll manage daily operations, handle inventory and cash processes, and ensure food safety and cleanliness. A strong communicator with 2–3 years’ experience excels in this role.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Guest greets and interacts with guests in a genuine manner and suggests products that complement purchase.
• Manages the store operations on designated shifts.
• Maintains inventory with neat, organized practices.
• Provides prompt, efficient and courteous service.
• Fosters positive relationships with coworkers and guests, communicates respectfully, and keeps a team‑oriented attitude.
• Addresses employee and guest concerns on designated shifts.
• Leads by example and coaches store team members on RaceTrac’s core values.
• Oversees coaching, training and development of team members.
• Directs, plans and apportions work on designated shifts.
• Ensures safety, food safety and cleanliness regulations are followed.
