Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise crew and fellow managers, schedule and plan shifts, and ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, service, and profitability while maintaining cleanliness and high standards. Previous leadership is preferred; candidates must be 18+ and ready to work a flexible schedule in a franchisee-owned restaurant.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Candidates must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate-owned and operated restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts weekly, providing leadership to crew and other managers while maintaining McDonald’s standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Plan for each shift, monitor performance, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to ensure successful shifts.
• Monitor safety, security, profitability, and meet targets during shifts and help departments reach goals.
