Job summary

Five Guys Brunswick, GA is seeking a Shift Leader to guide a fast‑paced team on every shift, stepping in when management isn’t on site and helping set the tone for excellence. You’ll lead by example, work side‑by‑side with crew across cashier, grill, prep, fries and dining room, and ensure fast, accurate service that keeps guests coming back.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in restaurant or retail leadership, strong communication, basic math, and comfort using a POS system; ServSafe or food

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Strong team mindset with clear communication.
• Ability to lead by doing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management is off-site.
• Work across cashier, grill, prep, fries, and dining room.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and guest experience.
• Coach and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build a positive culture.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
