Job summary

Smashburger in Ohio is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring efficient service and a positive guest experience. You will lead staff, enforce standards, and drive training programs to maintain Smashburger quality.

The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. A focus on leadership, communication, and process optimization will support daily operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Shift Leader or similar supervisory role.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must complete Smashburger training program.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance of both FOH & BOH employees.
• Promote a fun, positive work environment.
• Oversee training using SmashConnect, LMS, and 4 step method.
• Open/close checklists and ensure food safety standards.
• Monitor guest experience metrics and cash policies.
• Manage daily labor and inventory controls.
