This role emphasizes coaching associates, maintaining stock levels, ensuring food safety and quality, and resolving guest concerns while upholding company policies.

The Shift Manager II works collaboratively with team, trains staff, and ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment during varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and associates.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies.
• Experience operating equipment such as forklift, harness, power jack, walk behind lift, WAV, baler, compactor.
• Must be available to work until 10pm at least three nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Leads, coaches, teaches, and reinforces company culture, customer service, and performance expectations to all associates.
• Oversees department standards, communicates with store leadership, and maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Provides customer service to guests and resolves guest concerns.
• Assists department managers and leads to prepare associates for advancement.
• Ensures product safety and freshness and reports quality issues to managers.
• Maintains workplace safety and completes incident/accident reports.
