The Shift Leader (SL) supports the Store Manager in daily store operations. The SL is a key partner in achieving performance and profit goals, ensuring customer and employee satisfaction, brand standards, and store profitability. The SL promotes exceptional customer experiences and supports the vision of being "Fast, Fresh & Friendly".

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining high standards for food quality, customer service, food safety, and store cleanliness by empowering employees.
• Supervising daily tasks of store employees.
• Providing superior customer service: greeting, assisting, suggest selling, and thanking customers.
• Ensuring adherence to Food Service Program procedures and standards, overseeing daily operations and sanitation.
• Motivating and encouraging staff.
• Leading by example to ensure all tasks are completed and delegating appropriately.
• Enforcing daily operating procedures to maintain a clean, stocked, and organized store.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong food service experience, ideally managerial.
• ServSafe certification preferred or to be completed within 2 months of hire.
• Effective communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, and to work alone when required.
• Ability to work in a retail environment with occasional exposure to dust, extreme temperatures, and cleaning products.
• Standing for most of the shift with frequent bending and lifting.
• Assistance in maintaining store operations during inclement weather may be required.
