Job summary

Insomniacookies Highlands store is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations, assist with baking, cashiering, and ensure quality and guest satisfaction during the shift.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer service, POS experience, and strong communication. Part-time schedules, vacation/sick time, training, pet insurance, growth opportunities, and team‑oriented, fun work culture with employee discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of customer service experience.
• Point of Sale (POS) systems experience.
• Strong communication, time management and people skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, patient demeanor.
• Detail oriented and results-focused.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States (age 18+)

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to guests during their bakery experience.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations on shift and guiding team members.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging and cleaning; lead the cookie crew.
• Collaborate with the Cookie Crew to ensure smooth shift operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and follow food safety practices.
• Handle cash and deposits accurately.
