Blue Origin seeks a Senior Avionics Integration Shift Lead on Merritt Island to oversee GS1 AFT Module Integration. You will lead a talented team, manage installation, integration, and testing of avionics systems, and drive cross-functional collaboration to meet daily and project objectives.

You will ensure DO-178/DO-254 compliance, mentor technicians, and optimize integration workflows while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Competenze

• Experience leading aerospace development programs or production lines.
• Experience with integration, fluids and tubing, avionics, and harness routing.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
• Detail-oriented in fast-paced aerospace environment.
• Ability to work at height and in restricted areas.
• Strong communication skills.

Mansioni

• Build and manage the GS1 AFT Module Integration team with team-building, hiring recommendations, task assignment, and performance reviews.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop Assembly & Integration technicians and engineers, managing workloads and evaluations.
• Integration Management: Oversee installation, integration, and testing of systems including navigation, flight control, and mission systems.
• Technical Problem Resolution: Lead troubleshooting for complex integration challenges and maintain schedule adherence.
• Project Coordination: Plan and manage avionics integration activities across projects, coordinating resources and timelines.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure integration activities comply with DO-178, DO-254, and other standards with documentation.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize procedures, test methodologies, and validation processes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Systems Engineering, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, and Flight Test teams.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure activities adhere to FAA, EASA or other regulatory requirements.
