Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Avionics Operations Leader to guide a team responsible for the integration, testing, and operation of launch vehicle avionics systems. You will ensure operational readiness during processing, testing, and launches, collaborating across design, operations, and safety teams.

The role requires 7+ years in aerospace, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, with a focus on reliability, safety, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7+ years of experience in aerospace systems integration, testing, or operations.
• 2+ years of leadership or management experience, including personnel/teams.
• Experience with avionics systems including power, data handling, navigation, guidance, or flight control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the avionics operations team responsible for integration, testing, troubleshooting, and operation of launch vehicle avionics systems.
• Oversee avionics operational readiness during vehicle processing, testing, and launch campaigns.
• Collaborate with Avionics Design Engineering and Vehicle Operations to resolve issues and improve system operability.
• Develop and execute avionics procedures and test documentation, and drive issue resolution.
