Job summary

WhiteWater Express is hiring a Shift Leader to drive daily operations at our Michigan location. This full-time role pays $17–$19 per hour plus biweekly tips and includes paid training. You’ll lead a fast-paced team, engage with customers, and help the operation run smoothly while working outdoors in varied weather.

We promote from within, offer performance bonuses, and provide training to help you succeed. This is a hands-on leadership position with room to advance into management as you grow

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Support daily shift operations and assist with team oversight
• Ensure team members understand and complete their responsibilities
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Help customers choose wash packages and memberships
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
• Assist with incident reports and operational documentation
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed
• Support store opening and closing procedures
• Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and wash quality
• Encourage a positive, team-focused work environment

What You'll Do (Fast-Paced & Active Role)

• Support daily shift operations and assist with team oversight

This is not a desk job. You'll be on your feet, leading the team, supporting customers, and helping the operation run smoothly throughout the shift.

What We're Looking For

• 18+ years old
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
• Previous leadership, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift
• Available evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Dependable, motivated, and customer-focused
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies
• Must pass a background check
