Job summary

WhiteWater Express in Galveston, TX is hiring a Shift Leader for a full-time, active role. Starting pay ranges from $15 to $17 per hour plus biweekly tips, with paid training and clear growth opportunities.

This hands-on leadership position requires you to guide daily shift operations, motivate the team, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure safety, quality and cleanliness of the site. You'll benefit from flexible scheduling, a 401(k) with company match, medical/dental/vision coverage,

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous leadership, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift.
• Available evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Dependable, motivated, and customer-focused.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure team members understand and complete their responsibilities.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Help customers choose wash packages and memberships.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with incident reports and operational documentation.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Support store opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and wash quality.
• Encourage a positive, team-focused work environment.
