Job summary

Oberweis in Skokie is seeking a friendly Shift Leader/Key Holder to help run our ice cream shop evenings and weekends. You’ll back up the Store Manager, supervise the scoop squad, and keep guest experiences fun and fast.

The role requires 18+ and willingness to work 3–5 days with nights and weekends. You’ll deliver standout service, manage shifts, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked shop to delight guests daily.

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-energy, people-loving Shift Leader/Key Holder (Must be at least 18 years old and available to work 3-5 days, including nights and weekends) to help lead our ice cream shop to sweet success! You’ll be the right-hand hero to the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, keeping operations smooth, customers happy, and the vibes as fun as our flavors.

What You’ll Be Doing

Physical Requirements

• Carry up to 50lbs


• Stand and walk on a hard surface for 5-8 hours per day


• Tolerate up to 45 minutes in a walk-in cooler at temperature as low as 32 degrees F during inventory


• Tolerate up to 35 minutes in a walk-in Freezer at temperature at -10 degrees F during inventory and stocking
