Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations and guide the team in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will ensure brand standards, manage waste and keep the store inviting and well-run throughout each shift.

The role emphasizes coaching, quick decision-making, and maintaining a safe, productive environment for both staff and customers. Ideal candidates bring leadership experience, flexible availability, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of leadership experience or formal training to assume Shift Leader duties.
• Must be able to support scheduling needs and work varied shifts.
• Strong customer service mindset with ability to coach and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with energy, keep team engaged and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, product quality, cash handling, and safety policies.
• Coach team members on responsibilities, product knowledge, promotions, and guest requests.
• Perform administrative tasks including deposits, inventory, and product orders with integrity.
• Arrive on time and contribute to a positive shift handoff for the next team.
