Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Shift Leader who loves pets and people. You will partner with Store Team Leaders to cover shifts when they are offsite and help keep the store running smoothly.

This part-time, in-person role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and operate equipment including a forklift. You will deliver pawsome service to neighbors and ensure policies are followed, with a flexible schedule and employee discount.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate all store equipment, including forklift.
• Flexible schedules and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Pet Supplies Plus is looking for a Shift Leader who is passionate about pets, people, their team, and their neighborhood! It's not everywhere you have the opportunity to visit with pets throughout your workday - all while providing excellent service to our neighbors!

Shift Leaders are responsible for:

• Partnering with Store Team Leaders to provide leadership and management coverage when team leaders are offsite.
• Providing “pawsome” service to our neighbors and engagement with the pets that bring them to our store.
• Adhering to operational policies and procedures

Preferred candidates will have:

• Previous retail experience
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds, as well as operate all equipment, including a forklift.
• Have reliable transportation and work flexible schedules.
