Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus in Michigan is seeking a part-time Shift Leader who is passionate about pets, people, their team, and their neighborhood. You will help oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent neighbor service, and keep our shelves and teams running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has retail experience, can lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, bend and kneel as needed, and can work flexible hours with reliable transportation. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential in this role.

Shift Leaders are responsible for:

• Partnering with Store Team Leaders to provide leadership and management coverage when team leaders are offsite.
• Providing “pawsome” service to our neighbors and engagement with the pets that bring them to our store.
• Adhering to operational policies and procedures

Preferred candidates will have:

• Previous retail experience
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds, as well as operate all equipment, including a forklift.
• Have reliable transportation and work flexible schedules.
