A Shift Leader supports the management team in running the location, including but not limited to:

• Coaching staff to deliver exceptional customer service
• Producing high-quality food
• Delivering the Jersey Mike's experience
• Cash handling
• Following the Learning Management System Training Program
• Developing others for career growth
• Enforcing policies and procedures
• Participating in marketing initiatives
• Building sales
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
• Being certified in all four restaurant positions
• Effective communication
• Having a sense of urgency

The role also involves physical and work schedule requirements, such as:

• Moving or transporting up to 50 lbs
• Working 38-40 hours per week
• Reliable transportation
• Leading by example in quality, interaction, and appearance

Responsibilities include creating high-quality food, maintaining cleanliness, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, interfacing with customers, being accountable and demonstrating integrity, managing a crew of 2-5 people, and proficient slicing skills.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred 1 year QSR experience, Serve Safe Certification, reliable transportation, and being 18 or older to operate the slicer.
