Role: Shift Leader

The Shift Leader manages and develops team members, ensuring excellent product quality and customer service, while building sales and controlling costs during each shift.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Desire to delight customers with great food and good vibes
• Friendly and customer service oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with noise levels from music and traffic
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage potential allergens
• Kitchen heat tolerance; knife skills a plus
• At least 18 years old
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to stand/walk for 8-9 hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Food safety certification within 30 days (Illinois-specific requirements apply)

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead team members, assign tasks, and provide feedback
• Follow security and health standards
• Manage cash and ensure proper procedures
• Prepare food and ensure quality standards
• Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness
• Handle customer issues effectively
• Other duties as assigned

All Shift Leaders and Managers must pass a Food Safety Certification course as required by state law. Failure to pass after two attempts disqualifies continued employment in a leadership role.
