Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Shift Leader to support the management team in daily operations, coach staff, and ensure high-quality food and exceptional customer service at all times. You will handle cash, follow the training program, and help develop team members for career growth while upholding company policies.

This role participates in local and national marketing initiatives and requires a reliable transportation, open/close availability, and ServSafe certification when

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

6 months (preferably restaurant experience)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Available to open or close the store, as business needs dictate
• Ability to obtain ServSafe certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Capability to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces
• Frequent bending, stooping and lifting
• Frequent repetitive motion of shoulder and elbow to operate slicer
• Be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally

HOURS

Able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively, including weekends.
