Qualifications
  • Some high school education
  • Prefer some Operations experience
  • Food Safety knowledge (local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification, acquired at applicant’s own expense)
  • Commitment to uphold a high standard of integrity and ethics in accordance with Company Policies.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and associates in an open‑kitchen setting.
  • Experience interacting with individuals of all ages, including minors and seniors.
  • Open‑kitchen experience: counter areas are hot with steam and vapors; employees are expected to stand for long periods and handle hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knives and other kitchen equipment, and work quickly while maintaining accuracy.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours, and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, manage conflicts, and address difficult situations.

Pay Range

$23 per hour – $26 per hour (individual pay varies by location and experience)

ADA Statement

While performing duties, counter areas are hot with steam from tabletops and food vapors, workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knives and other kitchen equipment, and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast‑paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and manage conflicts/difficult situations.
