Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking a Shift Leader to help guide guests toward healthy smoothie and retail product choices. You will step in to lead store operations in the General Manager's absence and uphold the brand’s standards and culture.

The ideal candidate has restaurant or retail experience, strong communication, and reliability, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities. This is a hands-on role focused on guest satisfaction and team support.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a team member in a restaurant or similar retail customer service environment.
• Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• Knowledgeable of general POS functionality.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to give and receive feedback.
• Must be extremely reliable.

Responsibilities

• Blends delicious smoothies for guests.
• Ensures Guest’s purpose is met when smoothies are ordered.
• Greets and engages Guests to provide a friendly experience.
• Preps all fruits, vegetables, frozen items, powders, and liquids.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Fulfills store checklist tasks.
• Shows up on time and ready to work.
• Lives and promotes Smoothie King culture, values and mission.
• Assists in team member management during shifts.
• Manages cash handling, inventory, and open/close tasks.

As a brand ambassador, Shift Leaders will help our guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by assisting them to help select smoothies and retail products that inspire them to live a healthy and active lifestyle! A Shift Leader will also provide guidance to team members when the General Manager is not in the store. The successful shift leader will be passionate about the brand and demonstrate willingness to take on new challenges.
