Job summary

Tailwind Hospitality in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Shift Lead to manage a fast-paced restaurant shift, deliver excellent customer service, and uphold food quality and safety standards. You will lead by example to ensure a smooth operation.

This full-time role requires standing for long periods, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong teamwork and communication. Health, dental and vision insurance are provided to full-time employees.

Responsibilities

• Leads the restaurant during a shift.
• Understand completely; all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs set forth by Tailwind.
• Work as a member of the team to ensure success in all areas of the restaurant.
• Fill in where needed to ensure that service standards and efficient operations are met.
• Maintain a hygienic and safe work environment at all times.
• Report to work punctually and assist in the event of an emergency outlined within restaurant standards and Tailwind policies.
• Ensure that equipment is maintained as outlined in the restaurant safety and preventive maintenance program.
• Treating both hourly employees and members of the Management team with professionalism and respect.

About the Role:
