Tailwind Concessions LLC in Jackson, WY is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations at a busy travel dining location.

You will partner with the General Manager to supervise staff, manage inventory, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional guest service across all shifts. This role requires leadership, kitchen and grill experience, and a commitment to high food quality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass background check.
• Management background in Food and Beverage.
• Strong kitchen and grill experience.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Some weekend days are required; mornings and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead a rock star team with the GM.
• Train staff and ensure duties are performed effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, complying with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in scheduling staff work assignments.
• Handle customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Monitor food quality and service standards, including temperatures and appearance.
• Ensure safe and legal serving of alcohol.
• Maintain equipment per safety and preventive maintenance programs.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stocking of supplies.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join the Tailwind team! Tailwind is a rapidly growing company known for its commitment to innovation, growth, and excellence. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly. Responsibilities to Include but are not limited to:

• Partners with the GM to lead a rock star team.


• Ensure that all staff members are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.


• Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff, adhering to all health and safety regulations.


• Assist in scheduling staff in their work assignments.


• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.


• Responsible to monitor as well as take action to make sure food quality service standards are met.


• Responsible for verifying temperatures, judging appearance as well as taste of products, checking preparation methods to define quality.


• Ensure safe, responsible and legal serving of all alcoholic beverages.


• Ensure that equipment is maintained as outlined in the restaurant safety and preventive maintenance program.


• Ensure stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering as well as retrieving supplies plus stocking by stooping, bending, lifting heavy articles reaching overhead.

Qualifications:

• Capable of working in a standing position for long periods of time.


• Capable of reaching, bending, and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.


• Some weekend days are required as well as mornings and evenings.
