A Shift Leader supports the management team in running the assigned location, including but not limited to:

• Coaching staff to deliver excellent customer service;
• Producing high-quality food;
• Delivering the Jersey Mike's experience;
• Cash handling;
• Following the Learning Management System Training Program;
• Developing others for career growth;
• Enforcing policies and procedures;
• Participating in marketing initiatives;
• Building sales;
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation;
• Being certified in all four restaurant positions;
• Effective communication;
• Sense of urgency;

A Shift Leader is expected to:

• Move or transport up to 50 lbs without assistance unless covered by ADA or a temporary doctor's note;
• Work 38-40 hours per week;
• Have reliable transportation;
• Communicate issues to the GM/AGM/DM;
• Lead by example in quality, interaction, and appearance;
• Create food consistent with high standards;
• Maintain a cleaner restaurant than others;
• Work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment;
• Multitask with a sense of urgency;
• Interface with customers to provide an exceptional experience;
• Understand accountability and integrity;
• Be a Key Holder;
• Perform opening and closing tasks;
• Know how to bake bread and perform prep tasks;
• Manage and lead a crew of 2-5 people;
• Proficient in slicing;

Qualifications for the job include:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• 1 year QSR experience preferred;
• Must be 18+ to operate slicer;
• Serve Safe Food Handler Certification;
• Reliable transportation.
