Job summary

Chicken Salad Chick in Conway, AR is seeking a Shift Lead to join our team. The role requires rotating opening, mid-shift, and closing schedules and a commitment to friendly, fast, and accurate guest service.

You will supervise front-of-house operations, learn all restaurant positions, coach teammates, maintain cleanliness and food safety, and uphold our hospitality standards while delivering great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Be available to work any time including Saturdays
• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year of restaurant management or leadership experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve guests by taking orders, handling cash and credit cards, and preparing meals with a friendly response to guest needs
• Deliver meals to tables or pickup areas while maintaining high service standards
• Learn all restaurant positions including service, sandwich, and prep
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, dining room, parking lot, and restrooms
• Stock products to maintain adequate levels during shifts
• Lead and coach team members to meet hospitality standards
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
• Open and/or close the restaurant as a shift lead and key holder
• Promote a positive work culture within the team

We have an opening for a Chicken Salad Chick Shift Lead position. The work schedule for this position will rotate to include a combination of opening, mid-shift, and closing. Requirements

• You must be hard-working, team-oriented, friendly, honest and have great customer service skills.

• Reliable transportation is required

• Be authorized to work in the United States

• Be at least 18 years old

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent

• Be available to work any time including Saturdays- time off can be given for special requests

• Having at least one-year previous restaurant management or leadership experience is preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serving guests by taking orders, handling cash and credit cards and preparing meals, by offering an immediate and respectful response to all guest's needs.

• Delivering meals to guests at their table or to a designated pick up area, and providing excellent customer service at all times.

• Learning all positions of the restaurant including service, sandwich and prep.

• Maintain cleanliness of your work area and the dining room, parking lot, and restrooms.

• Stock products as needed to maintain adequate levels throughout your shift.

• Effectively manage and lead a team of people serving our guests while maintaining our operating standards to provide the best hospitality and guest experience.

• Coaching, teaching and training team members on policies and procedures and creating a positive work environment for everyone.

• Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards

• Open and/or close the restaurant leading the shift as a key holder

• Maintain the positive culture of the business to promote a pleasant work environment.
