Job summary

Skyline Chili is seeking a Shift Leader to join our team, ensuring excellent service and food safety compliance. This role involves supervising team members, training staff, and managing cash control. Ideal candidates will have leadership skills and restaurant experience.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of restaurant or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.

Skyline Chili has been a key community contributor in the Cincinnati area for almost 75 years. We are also the official chili of the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, FC Cincinnati, Cincinnati Zoo, University of Cincinnati, Xavier University, and more!

We are starting our next chapter with new ownership and are looking for Skyline fans to join our team!

As a Shift Leader With Skyline, You Will
  • Ensure a safe environment by following Skyline policies and procedures.
  • Train and monitor food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
  • Lead and demonstrate Skyline Time service, ensuring excellent hospitality.
  • Supervise Team Members and ensure quality food preparation.
  • Monitor labor usage and manage cash control procedures.
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to Team Members.
  • Perform all functions of a production employee when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Requirements & Physical Demands
  • Ability to work various schedules based on business needs.
  • May need to transfer between locations.
  • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Use kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • 1+ years of restaurant or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
