Pay Range: $17.00 per hour + tips

Job Summary:
As a Shift Leader at Jersey Mike's, you will be responsible for supporting the management team in the execution of running your assigned location. You will ensure that the staff delivers amazing customer service, produces high-quality food, and maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Complete opening and closing procedures, ensuring the restaurant is ready for business and properly secured.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and the restaurant is clean and well-maintained.
- Supervise and direct staff during shifts, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Train new team members, provide ongoing coaching, and assist with performance evaluations.
- Address and resolve staff conflicts and issues in a professional manner.
- Ensure all customers receive prompt and courteous service, addressing any complaints to maintain high satisfaction.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food to meet quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols.
- Manage cash registers, handle cash deposits, and ensure accurate cash management.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, staff schedules, and daily sales reports.
- Communicate effectively with upper management and staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in implementing local and national marketing initiatives.
- Continuously seek ways to improve operational efficiency and customer service.
- Help plan and execute in-store events and promotions.
Requirements
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a restaurant or similar environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership and team-building skills.
- Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Serve Safe Certification - Food Handler (preferred).
- Reliable transportation.
