Job summary

Dunkin’ Shift Leader plays a key role in coaching crew members and upholding Dunkin’ Brand standards during busy shifts. You will help set goals, assign tasks, and motivate the team to deliver fast, friendly service.

The role requires at least 18 years old, with prior leadership in retail, restaurant, or hospitality. Strong English communication and a focus on guest satisfaction are essential in a fast-paced Dunkin’ environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Fluent in English or local language.
• Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality.
• Ability to open/close procedures, cash handling.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals.
• Ensure Brand standards are met during shift including preparation of food and beverages.
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results to restaurant team members.
• Complete shift deployment plans for shifts to ensure positions are adequately supported.
• Coach restaurant team members as needed throughout a shift and provide timely feedback.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth workflow.
• Support the training of restaurant team members as needed.
• Oversee franchisee safety, security and profitability policies/processes throughout a shift.
• Communicate clearly with the next Shift Leader to help prepare them for shift.
• Ensure Food Safety standards are met.
• Manage Inventory throughout the shift.
• Provide great guest service and coach staff to do the same.
• Handle customer complaints, conflicts, and emergencies and resolve issues.
• Manage cash over/short during shift and ensure adherence to cash policies.
• Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and policy adherence.
