Job description

As a Shift Leader at our Bryn Mawr store located at 1084 E Lancaster Ave, Bryn Mawr PA 19010, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to "Own the Night" by predicting the flow of business and leading a successful shift. Your hands-on leadership should include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. Additionally, taking pride in your leadership as an Insomniac contributes to a productive and fun night for your store!

WHAT WILL I DO AS A SHIFT LEADER?

  • Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests throughout their experience in our bakery.
  • Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, ensuring team members meet company standards, and assisting in training and coaching.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for guests and staff, adhering to safe food handling practices.
  • Manage cash handling and deposits.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role
  • Experience with Point of Sale systems
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate others
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older to be employed
