Job summary

Modern Market Eatery in Colorado is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to ensure smooth shifts and outstanding guest service in a fast-paced, open kitchen setting. You will supervise opening/closing procedures, delegate tasks, and help teammates across all stations.

Applicants should have at least 6 months of shift leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate work and multi-task in a dynamic restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks
• Continually monitor our food and food quality
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed

We love food and we love providing an excellent guest experience to each person that walks through our door. We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Shift Leaders to join our team.

• This position is paid hourly and is eligible for overtime in accordance with laws applicable to the work location.
• This position is eligible to participate in Tip sharing! This benefit can add upwards of $2 / hour additional pay and is paid out each pay period.
