Job summary

Dunkin’ is seeking a Shift Leader in Michigan to coach team members during each shift, ensure brand standards, and deliver great guest service. You will set goals, assign tasks, monitor execution, and provide timely feedback to keep operations running smoothly.

You will support the Restaurant Manager, handle opening/closing, manage cash over/short, oversee food safety, inventory, and scheduling, and resolve guest issues quickly to protect the restaurant's reputation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality, or a related customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coach restaurant team members as needed throughout a shift, providing timely, constructive and clear feedback.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth workflow and adequate staffing.
• Ensure Brand standards are met during shift, including food and beverage preparation and presentation.
• Manage cash over/short and ensure adherence to franchisee cash handling policies.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality and adherence to company policies.
• Support training of team members and oversee safety, security and profitability policies/processes.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve emergencies to maintain a positive reputation.
