Job summary

Brenntag Chicago is seeking a Shift Lead to plan and coordinate daily warehousing and production activities, while aligning with other shift leads to ensure smooth operations. You will manage the shift by delegating duties, monitoring task execution, and following up with all team members.

This role involves supervising bulk warehousing, loading/unloading, mixing and blending while upholding safety and quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan shifts and align with other shift leads.
• Manage the shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks, monitoring task execution, and following up with all team members.
• Conduct operational warehousing and production (bulk (un-)loading, filling, mixing and blending) activities within the respective shifts.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality guidelines during the respective shifts.
• Execute selected administrative activities related to the shift work.
• Lead small team of operators in warehousing and production.
