Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of Veterinary Assistant experience preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Leadership, mentoring, and teamwork are essential.
• Proficiency in veterinary assistant tasks and client communication.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift, coordinate workflow, assign tasks, and ensure staff coverage.
• Mentor and support veterinary technicians and assistants; onboarding and development.
• Identify workflow gaps and partner with hospital manager to implement improvements.
• Support patient care, maintain medical records, and uphold infection control standards.
• Provide exceptional client support from scheduling to discharge instructions and estimates.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment.
