Job summary

SunLife Organics in Sag Harbor is seeking a SunLife Samurai to lead by example and deliver top‑notch service. You’ll guide by example, mentor associates, and set the standard for guest experience whether at the counter or on the floor.

The role pays $19.50 per hour plus tips, with strong emphasis on hospitality, teamwork, and local community involvement. Weekend/evening/holiday flexibility is expected, along with a passion for leadership and SunLife's standards.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of food service experience (preferred).
• A passion for leadership, customer service, and all things SunLife.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to stay energized and efficient in a fast‑paced environment, while keeping a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Inspire: Set the tone, mentor associates, and keep the team motivated and aligned with SunLife's goals and culture.
• Create an Amazing Experience: Greet guests with a smile and recommend products to ensure perfection every time.
• Keep Things Running: Maintain cleanliness, safety, inventory, and adherence to company policies; assist in operations in absence of a senior manager.
• Teamwork & Training: Build relationships, resolve conflicts, and train new associates on standards, products, and systems.
• Community Champion: Engage with local events and nearby businesses to grow brand loyalty.

As a Samurai, you’ll be the heartbeat of the SunLife team! You’ll lead by example, motivate your crew, and deliver the ultimate guest experience with enthusiasm and top‑notch service. Whether you're behind the counter or on the floor, you’ll set the standard for excellence in everything you do. The rate for this role is $19.50 per hour with additional compensation in the form of tips.

What You’ll Do:

• Teamwork & Training: Foster a positive, collaborative environment by building strong relationships with your team, addressing any conflicts, and training new associates on our standards, products, and systems.
• Community Champion: Get involved with local events, connect with nearby businesses, and build brand loyalty through genuine connections in the community.
