Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking a Shift Manager in Superior, Wisconsin. You will lead shifts weekly, guiding crew and other managers to deliver fast, friendly service and maintain McDonald’s standards for quality, service and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include shift planning, monitoring performance, safety, scheduling, training and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare a strong handoff. Prior leadership in hospitality or retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
• Positive team players with a flexible schedule who like to have fun, with the passion to work the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• No specific degree required; leadership skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift and monitor performance during the shift.
• Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards for Quality, Service and Cleanliness.
• Lead and train crew and other managers; maintain safety and profitability.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to ensure a smooth handoff.
• Help departments meet their goals and volunteer for shift targets.
