Job summary

ADVICS Manufacturing Georgia is seeking a Combo Shift Lead to facilitate brake pad production in a safe, efficient manner. You will support operators, train new staff, and ensure ongoing process controls are maintained.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing with leadership experience, proficiency in Excel and Outlook, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. This on-site position reports to the Production supervisor and may involve cross-training responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience with leadership preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.

Responsibilities

• Trains new operators in proper and safe methods using work standards.
• Lead others by example in safety, quality, productivity, attendance, 5S, and housekeeping.
• Knows and can perform most jobs in the area and understands all jobs within the area.
• Ensures proper usage of parts and materials in the area.
• Assists operators to ensure machinery, tools, and equipment are in good order.
• Assists in solving quality problems and monitors process controls.
• Monitors component quantities and may restock lines as necessary.
• Assists in cross-training and job rotation planning with supervision.
• Performs cycle counts on the line.
• Troubleshoots the process and adjusts machines as needed.
• May fill a position on a production line during absenteeism or high demand.
