Job summary

Greenbridge is seeking a Shift Lead to act as the liaison between the production floor and shift supervision. You will guide teams to safe, clean, and secure facilities while driving Lean improvements and meeting key metrics.

The role requires coaching and developing staff, along with strong communication to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English. Spanish a plus.
• Ability to create and execute projects/plans with decisive prioritization.
• Experience optimizing operational structures to minimize cost per pound.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between operations floor and Shift Supervisor.

Description

The Shift Lead is the liaison between the operations floor and the Shift Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Safety/Quality – acting as an example to the production team. Also, an acting liaison between his/her team and the Safety/Quality Manager(s).
• Guiding the efforts of the production team to ensure we protect our employees and ensure our facilities are safe, clean, and secure.
• Train new and re-assigned personnel in the safe execution of duties in each role they are assigned.
• Receive, acknowledge, deliver, and actively support company goals and objectives through direct communication to shift personnel and exemplifying their execution (show through your words and actions you support the goals and objectives).
• Responsible for the efficiencies of production team and ensuring his/her teams achieve their company goals and objectives as they relate to safety, quality, speed, delivery, and cost.
• Drive continuous improvement activities to achieve manufacturing excellence by leading and reinforcing a Lean Culture.
• Contribute to the development and establishment of clear performance metrics for his/her team.
• Address deficiencies in personnel performance through training, coaching, and the progressive discipline process.
• Other duties as required by management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Able to read, write, and speak English and Spanish a plus.
• Ability to create and execute projects/plans and contribute to the development of tactical plans using the appropriate decisions and priorities.
• Proven experience in optimizing operational organizations to minimize cost per pound.
• Effectively coach team members and provide performance feedback and development opportunities within areas of responsibility.
• Ability to drive results and perform in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment. Ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, process driven, have effective planning and implementation skill sets. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team leader/member with a diverse group of people at all levels within the organization.
