The Shift Lead in the Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing sector plays a critical role in overseeing daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. This position is responsible for managing and motivating a team of production workers, coordinating workflow, and addressing any operational challenges that arise during the shift. The Shift Lead acts as a liaison between management and frontline employees, facilitating clear communication and timely resolution of issues. They ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes. Ultimately, the Shift Lead drives productivity while maintaining a safe and positive work environment that supports the company’s manufacturing goals.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in non-durable goods production.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including supervising or leading a team.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
