Vale Healthy Kitchen in South Florida is seeking a Shift Lead to run service, open or close, and guide the team through high-energy shifts with a guest-first focus. You’ll own the guest experience, coach teammates, and ensure smooth operations from start to finish.

This true launchpad role offers a path to Assistant Manager and General Manager as you demonstrate strong execution and leadership across 10+ Florida locations.

Qualifications

• Restaurant or retail experience with some leadership exposure preferred.
• Strong leadership and calm under pressure.
• Open availability including weekends and evenings.

Responsabilités

• Lead opening or closing procedures and run smooth, high-energy shifts from start to finish.
• Coach and motivate FOH and BOH team members in the moment — set the pace and the standard.
• Own the guest experience: resolve issues on the spot and turn a bad moment into a loyal regular.
• Manage cash handling, register counts, and end-of-shift reporting accurately.
• Keep food safety, cleanliness, and Vale quality standards tight across every station.
• Jump in wherever the shift needs you — line, register, expo — leaders here work alongside the team.
• Communicate with management on inventory, staffing, and anything the store needs to win tomorrow.

As a Shift Lead, you run the show when you're on the floor. You'll open or close the restaurant, lead the team through service, and own the guest experience shift by shift. What We're Looking For

• Restaurant or retail experience with some leadership exposure preferred — or a standout team member ready to step up (we'll train you)
• Natural leadership: you set the tone, stay calm under pressure, and people want to follow you
• Accountability: you own the shift's results, not just your own station
• Strong communication with both guests and teammates
• Passion for healthy food and genuine hospitality
• Open availability preferred, including weekends and evenings
• Food handler / food manager certification a plus — we'll help you get certified
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
