Vale Healthy Kitchen in South Florida is seeking a Shift Lead to run front-of-house operations, lead service, and uphold guest satisfaction. You’ll open or close, coach the FOH and BOH team, and own the guest experience from start to finish.

This is a true leadership role with a launchpad for future promotions. They offer competitive hourly pay at $18–$20 plus tips, a free shift meal, and a 25% employee discount.

• Restaurant or retail experience with leadership exposure preferred.

• Lead opening or closing procedures and run high-energy shifts.
• Coach and motivate FOH and BOH team members and set the pace.
• Own the guest experience: resolve issues on the spot to turn moments into loyalty.
• Manage cash handling, register counts, and end-of-shift reporting.
• Keep food safety, cleanliness, and Vale quality standards across stations.
• Jump in wherever the shift needs you and collaborate with management on inventory.
• Support scheduling and be ready to cover roles as needed.

As a Shift Lead, you run the show when you're on the floor. You'll open or close the restaurant, lead the team through service, and own the guest experience shift by shift. What You'll Do

• Manage cash handling, register counts, and end-of-shift reporting accurately
• Keep food safety, cleanliness, and Vale quality standards tight across every station
• Jump in wherever the shift needs you — line, register, expo — leaders here work alongside the team
• Communicate with management on inventory, staffing, and anything the store needs to win tomorrow

What We’re Looking For

• Restaurant or retail experience with some leadership exposure preferred — or a standout team member ready to step up (we’ll train you)
• Natural leadership: you set the tone, stay calm under pressure, and people want to follow you
• Accountability: you own the shift's results, not just your own station
• Strong communication with both guests and teammates
• Passion for healthy food and genuine hospitality
• Open availability preferred, including weekends and evenings
• Food handler / food manager certification a plus — we’ll help you get certified
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
