Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift activities and set the production tone for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Deliver front-line safety talks and coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and leadership.
• Coach team members and mentor/train staff to uphold safety and quality standards.
• Assist with setup, changeovers, and adjustments for production lines or cells.
• Record production run information in the company system and monitor process sequences.
• Troubleshoot quality or equipment issues and support timely corrections.
• Select programs in machine controls to start operations and perform preventative maintenance.

POSITION SUMMARYThe Shift Lead is a front-line leadership role requiring strong manufacturing knowledge within the assigned department. This position helps set the tone on the production floor by overseeing daily shift activities, supporting team members, and providing clear directions to help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
