Job summary

Mountain Mike’s Pizza in Manor, TX is seeking a hands-on Shift Lead to own the store during shifts and lead both front- and back-of-house operations. This leadership role offers a chance to grow into management.

You will supervise team members, ensure quality and guest service, manage staffing and POS, and uphold food safety standards. We offer a strong bonus plan, sign-on bonus, PTO, and opportunities to advance to Assistant Manager and General Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience (Shift Lead/Supervisor preferred).
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and customer service.
• Leadership mindset with ability to train and hold team accountable.
• Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• English required; Spanish is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during shifts and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assign stations, manage breaks, and maintain proper staffing levels.
• Ensure food quality, speed, cleanliness, and guest service standards.
• Train and coach team members on the floor.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Open and/or close the restaurant as scheduled.
• Manage POS, cash handling, and basic reporting.
• Enforce food safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate shift performance and issues to management.
