Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is seeking Shift Leads to guide daily operations with a focus on customer experience and team leadership. The role involves managing shift tasks, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean, welcoming coffeebar.

Qualifications

• 1 year of leadership experience or directing the work of others.
• 1 year of POS/cash handling experience in related industry.
• Shift Leads must be available a minimum of three days per week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to work with, and direct, minors.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus and clear task deployment in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience with genuine engagement and high product quality.
• Support a positive team environment through clear communication and accountability.
• Ensure opening/closing routines, cash handling, inventory tasks, and visual updates are performed reliably.
• Adapt to changing priorities and keep shifts running smoothly.
