About the Job:

A Camp Counselor/Shift Lead assists with animal care, heavy cleaning and play yard monitoring. The care of Campers is the #1 priority. Shift Leads provide leadership to staff & maintain responsibility to keep shift efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in animal care.
• Heavy cleaning of doggy play yards & cabins.
• Active supervision of the health & behavior of packs of dogs.
• Responsible for feeding & providing general care of a volume of dogs.
• Administering medications.
• Team Communication & Leadership skills.
• Customer Service - having professional & happy conversations with pet parents during rush times.
• A positive & energetic attitude is a must.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment following strict daily cleaning & safety protocols!
• Must be able to work at a fast & efficient pace.
• Ability to lead a team of 6-8 people effiencetly through a shift.
• Ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment.
• Understand the foundational values of CBW and lead with purpose.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. (18 years old or older).
• Be able to lift 25-50 lbs. if needed.
• Constantly walk and/or stand the entire shift.
• Must be comfortable monitoring up to 25 dogs at a time.
• Open availability/flexible scheduling.
• 30-40 hours per week.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Holidays & Weekend availability required.
