Job summary

Five Guys Operations LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Shift Leader to drive guest experience on every shift. You will lead by example, supervise on-site teams, and ensure fast, accurate service while upholding brand standards.

You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen and dining area, take on multiple roles, coach crew members, and help train new team members to build a positive, high-energy culture. This position starts at $16.00/hour plus tips and bonus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• A team‑first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Someone who leads by doing—not just directing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room—no task is too small.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience every time.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
