Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Guest Services associate at our Winnemucca travel center. You will lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers and manage cash, credit and debit transactions while ensuring guests receive high-quality service.

Responsibilities include shift reports, adherence to alcohol/tobacco guidelines, maintaining a clean area, and promoting products. The role offers a friendly, fast-paced environment with weekly pay and benefits in a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and customer service.
• Ability to follow guidelines for sale of restricted merchandise (alcohol, tobacco).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of restricted merchandise items (i.e., alcohol, tobacco)
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
• Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines; resolve team member conflict; and communicate issues to management
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift
• Assist with other travel center functions such as maintaining deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking, making coffee, etc.
• Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned
