Job summary

Pizza Hut is seeking a dependable Shift Manager to lead day-to-day restaurant operations in Morgan City, LA. You will oversee food quality, service speed, cleanliness, and team performance to deliver a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to lead by example and provide clear direction to team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and provide direction to team members throughout the shift.
• Assign positions and deploy team members based on business needs.
• Ensure every guest receives fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Maintain Pizza Hut standards for food quality, preparation, order accuracy, and presentation.
• Monitor speed of service and adjust team deployment as needed.
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, temperature control, and food safety procedures are followed.
• Complete required food safety and temperature logs accurately, honestly, and on time.
• Immediately address and communicate any food safety concerns.
• Manage opening, closing, and shift-change procedures.
• Handle cash handling, register procedures, deposits, and assigned financial controls.
• Monitor product levels and ensure proper stocking, rotation, and inventory procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant for guests and employees.
• Coach team members in the moment and reinforce company policies and operating standards.
• Help train and develop new and existing team members.
• Communicate equipment, maintenance, staffing, food safety, and operational concerns to restaurant management.
• Monitor labor and staffing during assigned shifts.
• Help control food waste and ensure proper portioning and product handling.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and work to resolve issues quickly.
• Create a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace.
• Support delivery, kitchen, front counter, and other restaurant positions as needed.
