Job summary

Ziggi's Coffee is seeking a Shift Lead to help manage opening and closing duties, ensuring top-tier customer service and smooth daily operations. The role requires strong barista skills and proven leadership to guide staff during shifts.

You will train new employees, balance registers, and assist with inventory while maintaining Ziggi's standards of service and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent barista and team leadership experience required.
• Ability to lead a team during openings and closings.
• Strong communication and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure standards of service are in place - exceptional customer service, quality, accuracy, speed.
• Maintain clear communication with staff and managers.
• Lead by example, take initiative, and train new staff.
• Balance cash drawer and ensure registers are stocked at end of shift.
• Assist with inventory and daily checklists; support monthly tasks as needed.
• Address customer complaints in absence of managers and relay incidents to supervisors.
• Other duties as assigned.
