Job summary

7 Leaves Cafe in Monrovia, CA is seeking a Shift Lead to support the manager in running daily cafe operations. You'll delegate tasks, maintain a clean, safe environment, and ensure smooth service during shifts when the manager is not on site.

This role typically serves 25–30 hours per week with flexible schedule options. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates well, and helps the team deliver authentically crafted beverages and great customer experiences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all operations are consistently maintained to a high standard with or without a manager present
• Remaining calm in stressful situations to ensure smooth operations while assisting team members
• Communicating clearly with team members and manager to ensure smooth transitions
• Creating a positive team environment by addressing changes or difficulties team members may be experiencing
• Assisting team members to solve problems and increase efficiency in their performance
• Executing opening and closing duties and general bakery operations with punctuality
• Ensuring all orders and inventory are received and organized accordingly
• Following all health, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned
